The new JB Hi-Fi Headquarters in the IBM building in Southbank, Melbourne, is the latest building to be completed by Tandem Building Group. Covering 9 levels, Hot Black, the architects behind the design were faced with a unique challenge of unifying the large floor plan opening it up for employees.

To achieve this, internal staircases were used throughout the office to connect different business divisions and facilitate a collaborative working environment for over 100 staff members who relocated to this space.

The 9 level office space covers over 30,000 sqm. The floor-plan was a challenge for the architects Hot Black as they had to unite this large space to facilitate a collaborative working environment for over 100 staff members who relocated to the building. Over a 24 week build, Tandem Building Group were able to deliver this project on time and on budget.
